Cookie Recipes for Christmas - Snickerdoodle Cookies

1 cup soft butter

4 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups flour, all purpose cleaner

1 cup pecans, finely chopped

2 / 3 cup red candied cherries, chopped

Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are set. Allow to cool. Dust with icing sugar.

Makes about 72 biscuits.
