I'm not a big fan of coleslaw, but my grandfather. Wow. Is this a different story!
I think he could practically live on KFC's cole slaw, he claims it to the "best thing". So naturally we wanted to love him (me and my wife to cook it), so that we impress on a mission to the KFC magic in our own newhome.
After surfing the Internet looking for the secret recipe, I was confused. I found several recipes, and had no idea what was right! They all are invoked, delicious, but somehow I knew, my grandfather would be a more sophisticated taste.
So we picked the two that looked the best, and made them both. I tasted them both, but as I said: I'm not a big fan and really do not know how she was compared to KFC, but they taste quite different fromeach other.
When my grandfather took his first bite, we held our breath and waited for him to say, "Wow, you have KFC coleslaw" and then for us to respond with "No, we cooked it ourselves!" but he put down his fork and said: "this coleslaw is terrible".

About a week after this embarrassing incident, I was told a colleague what happened and he told me about a resource I had never heard before. Apparently there was a "secret" club of the kind that are tradedSecret restaurant recipes back and forth. I checked it out and sure enough, there was the famous KFC coleslaw recipe.
So we fired the kitchen and called by Grandpa, and guess what he loved ...! He said it tasted just like the original. The best part of the story is that we found an endless supply of the best recipes and is now like the pros from home cooking. How cool is that?
