Peach Cobbler Easy Recipe - Down Home Peach Cobbler

Peach Filling

5 large fresh peaches - peeled, cored and sliced
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup white sugar

Crust

2.1 cup unsalted butter or shortening
1 cup White sugar
1 1 / 2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2.1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 cup milk

Butter Water

1 cup boiling water
3 tablespoons Butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10x10-inch baking pan.

In a bowl, mix peaches with cinnamon and vanilla 1 cup sugar. Set aside.

In another bowl, cream together shortening and 1 cup sugar. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla sugar alternately with milk.

Pour filling into prepared pan. Top with peach mixture. Drop butter in boiling water and pour all over the peaches.

For 60 minutes, until they are golden brown.
