Filipino Recipes - Yema - Pinoy Food

Yema is a sweet creation that you or serve as a dessert snack. If you have a sweet tooth, then yema is something you should know that.
Ingredients:

2 cups powdered milk
1-1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp. Butter (soft)
1 50-gram pack of coconut cream powder
1 cup white sugar
1 egg yolk
small paper cups (1-inch diameter for the bottom)
Preparation:

Place a small saucepan on the stove over mediumHeat. Pour the condensed milk and heat gently. Do not bring the milk to a boil.
In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks and pour in half of the heated milk. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Add the coconut milk and mix until you obtain a smooth mixture. Pour the mixture into the pan and leave to cook. To prevent scorching, stir constantly and scrape the bottom and sides of the pot. Turn off the heat if the mixture begins to thicken. Set aside for 5 minutesAllow to cool.
In a large bowl, put the milk powder, egg, milk and coconut cream and mix the softened butter. Blend well until a smooth mixture. Use plastic wrap to cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes. Mixture condense after cooling, it makes it easier to shape into balls.
Place the white sugar in a shallow dish.
Form the mixture into balls using two teaspoons. You will see at this point irregular. Let the balls on the white sugar andYou roll it gently to coat the entire ball. Roll the sugar-coated balls with soft hands. If you are satisfied with the way the ball fall into a paper cup. Repeat this process until the design of the remaining mixture.
Chill the yema balls serve.
